This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 09, 2008:
Around 12 years ago in Montreal Canada, a gunman walked into a University and targeted female engineering students, killing 12 of them after separating the men from the women. Women are at greatest risk of being murdered by their significant other. In the Congo, as also happened in Bosnia and many other areas of the world, intentional rape is being used as a weapon of war, so what I wish for most is the cessation of violence towards women and children for ever!

Amen. That’s good prayer for today & always. It’s heartbreaking to even think this happens in our world today. But I guess it does, so I add my wish to yours, Zoey.
I remember that student incident (having been a female, engineering student myself in Wisconsin).
Yes, the world is full of violence. Hopefully we can help raise consciousness to help.
